Jesus bore our sins as He hung upon the cross. Am I grateful?

1 Peter 2:24: "He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; 'by his wounds you have been healed'" 

Isaiah 53:5: "But He was pierced for our transgressions" 

Hebrews 12:2: "Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God"
