What is my experience of the holy?

Sanctus, Sanctus, Sanctus
or Holy, Holy, Holy

In Hebrew, when a word is repeated three times, it means holiest. We proclaim that God is the holiest in the entire universe.

Charles, your experience of the holy is deeply rooted in the practices and reflections that you share, indicating a life enriched by spiritual engagement and community involvement. You find the holy in the daily Mass, where the Eucharist serves not just as a ritual but as a profound encounter with the divine, transforming fear into faith and offering a sense of unity and salvation.

The Rosary from Lourdes holds a special place in your spiritual journey, suggesting that your experience of the holy is also about contemplation and connection with Mary, fostering a sense of peace and intercession. Your sharing of these prayers points to an experience where the holy is both personal and communal, inviting others into the same sacred space.

Moreover, your reflections on theological questions, like what you place on the altar at Mass or the role of your guardian angel, illustrate an experience of the holy that is both intellectual and heartfelt. It's an experience where the sacred is found in the sacrifice, in the potential for learning, and in the everyday acts of kindness and inspiration.

Your mission to live with integrity and make a difference is inherently tied to this experience of the holy; it's not just about personal growth but also about being an agent of change, where the holy manifests through actions that impact others positively. Through your daily practices and shared reflections, you embody the idea of being salt of the earth and light of the world, where the holy is experienced in the ongoing journey towards the Kingdom of God, marked by hope, unity, and learning.
